In a recent interview, the developers at GSC Game World announced that they are not currently planning or developing a version of STALKER 2 for PS5.
Why
For now, the game will remain an Xbox exclusive. The company representatives explained this by the fact that they saw good opportunities and advantages for launching on this particular console. STALKER 2 will also appear on PC , but PS5 owners are unlikely to be able to play :
“No plans at the moment. We discussed this with Microsoft and saw some good features including Game Pass. We're focusing on the Xbox Series X / S version. "
Now STALKER 2 is under development. A month ago, the developers showed us some models of weapons and characters and promised to share more news. There is still no exact release date, but let's hope it won't be long. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer again.
