WhatsApp will deny access to people who disagree with the new terms of use

 

The WhatsApp team will change the rules for using the app in 2021. If users do not agree with the new rules, they will lose access to the messenger.

According to SecurityLab, the changes are related to the processing of user data in WhatsApp and Facebook. The new rules are due to take effect on February 8th. The messenger will notify users about this using notifications.

What exactly the new conditions will be is still not known for certain. Journalists rely on early rumors. In beta versions of the application, hints of changes were found. It is noted that these may affect data processing and how companies and brands will be able to use Facebook services to manage their WhatsApp chats.
