G9 Plus as a replacement for Redmi Note 9 Pro

A hefty screen, a capacious battery and a decent set of cameras. The G9 Plus is Motorola's most modern low-cost smartphone, and (in official retail) a cheaper alternative to the hugely popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro / Poco X3, Huawei P30 Lite or Realme 6 Pro. If I was told in the good old days that Chinese smartphones would be more expensive than Motorola's "oldest and most expensive" brand, I would laugh in their faces. And now we have what we have. But maybe there is a catch in the lower official price?

Actually, Motorola marketers insist that it is correct to say Motorola Moto G9 Plus - they say, Moto is the same identifier for them as Galaxy for Samsung and Redmi for Xiaomi. But we think that this name sounds as idiotic as “singer with his mouth” or “negative flaw”, and because of this phrase, we feel butthurt anal ass, so sorry, sorry, in the text we will just call the smartphone Motorola G9 Plus or G9 Plus.

Appearance

When I first took the G9 Plus in my hands, I was visited by deja vu. Somewhere I have already seen all this. Thought, thought, but remembered. Nokia 8.3, gentlemen. On the front, these are two absolutely identical smartphones. The screens are identical, the fingerprint scanner is the same, the dimensions are one-to-one, the chin is similar and there is a cutout in the display for the camera on the same side. Poorly? No, because the prices for these smartphones differ twice, and they came out at about the same time. And the difference in price is never in favor of Nokia. But let's not talk about sad things.

And since I remembered at the beginning of the paragraph about Nokia, I should immediately tell you about one rather important detail - the side fingerprint scanner. For some reason, the Nokia 8.3 forgot about the build quality. As a result, there is a dangling button that is simply unpleasant to touch. This is not the case with the Moto G9 Plus. With an absolutely identical design, there are no problems with the "crooked" travel of this key, which is good news, given the difference in price.
