Representatives from 4A Games have shared the news that a major update for Metro Exodus will hit Steam, Epic Games Store, Good Old Games and Microsoft Store on May 6th.
What is known
The developers added DLSS 2.0 support for NVIDIA video cards to the game, thereby increasing the image detail, frame rate and screen resolution. Also, all lights are now equipped with ray tracing. You cannot turn off ray tracing, so the game will only work on computers with a video card that supports this function. Most likely, Metro Exodus will be the only game in the series with such technology - 4A said that they do not plan to add ray tracing to Metro Redux yet.
