Apple unveils macOS 12 Monterey for Mac computers and MacBook laptops

 

On the  first day of Apple's WWDC 2021 developer conference, a new version of the operating system for Mac computers , macOS 12 Monterey, also debuted . 

What's new

In  the first place, MacOS 12 Monterey acquired innovations, like the iOS 15 - features FaceTime and mode Focus for notifications.

The Safari browser has received an updated design and a  ton of improvements in  terms of performance and  user experience. As a  result, Apple has dubbed it the fastest and most  energy efficient browser.

An interesting feature is the Universal Control function for communicating with  other devices. So, you  can use your mouse, touchpad and  keyboard at the same time on your  Mac and  iPad. To do this, simply place your tablet next to  your computer, and then drag and drop files, move the cursor and  draw something with  the Apple Pencil between the Mac and  iPad, as if they were two displays.

Also, after upgrading to  macOS Monterey, a computer or laptop can be used as  a wireless speaker for an iPhone or iPad via AirPlay. Finally, the Shortcuts application will be available to users.
