The developers examined the data on the equipment of all players for a period of one month. Such information is automatically read upon entering the game. The results were divided according to the following parameters: registration time, skill level, as well as the most common and rare pieces of hardware. The study showed that two out of three World of Tanks players prefer to play on a PC, and one in three uses a laptop. The average statistical parameters of the tanker's computer are as follows:
- 2 GB VRAM
- 8 GB of RAM
- screen resolution 1920 by 1080
- average ping value - 47
The game has almost 6,000 registered users playing on computers with 64 GB of RAM, and 1 player with a computer with 256 GB of RAM.
More than 1900 different processors are used to play World of Tanks. 51% of gamers have quad-core chips. The most popular models are AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor and Intel Core i5-8300H. As for video cards, most of them prefer NVIDIA products - 59%.
The most popular operating system was Windows 10 (61%). In second place is Windows 7, and in third is Windows 8.1. There is also one user with a Windows 2000-based computer.
Interestingly, Wargaming also said that 45% of World of Tanks players have a cat and 91% prefer to drink coffee.
