It was originally on show, essentially as a concept at CES 2020, soon consumers can able to buy the Tomahawk Gaming PC. First things first, it’s going to cost you big time, the cost is listed as US$2,399.00 which works out to just shy of AU$3,300.00 currently. It’s easy to think what the heck can cost so much, but this isn’t just about the hardware: There’s a lot more to this modular and ultra-compact beast.
The specs are really impressive, with a huge amount of processing power jammed into a tiny (210mm x 150mm x 365mm) form factor:

- 512GB SSD + 2TB HDD
- up-to (SKU dependent) an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 and PCIe slot for graphic card if you choose

Being so physically small, there’s limited space for connectivity ports. Despite this, there’s still a reasonable range including USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-C Thunderbolt 3™ ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports and a 3.5mm rear speaker port. The whole thing is constructed in CNC-milled aluminium and finished with a matte black (which looks slick) and then adorned with Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
While the marketing and presentation may be aimed at gamers, there’s a potential market here for creators and professionals alike. This machine is designed to be small, quiet and perform at a high level.
