Diablo Immortal will focus on the events between Diablo II and Diablo III. Archangel Tyrael committed a desperate act, destroying the defiled stone of the universe. Adventurers will have to go around Sanctuary to find the fragments of the stone of the universe and complete Tyrael's work.
The adventure begins in Vortem, from where players will travel to the city center through the hellish forest. You will have to fight monsters in different zones, the wandering gates will allow you to move between them.
The main source of production will remain the dungeons, which are completed in 10-15 minutes. Players will also have access to Portals - randomly generated locations with difficult monsters that need to be defeated in the allotted time. Glyphs, some modifiers that add positive or negative effects in the Portal, will help to diversify the passage. In return, players will receive more valuable rewards for completing activities.
In technical alpha, only four classes are available: Demon Hunter, Barbarian, Wizard and Monk. New classes will be added in future updates. The progress system remained similar to the older Diablo. By earning experience, players will unlock new skills, and upon reaching maximum strength, levels of improvement will open, just like in Diablo 3.
Equipment can be obtained by killing monsters, or purchased from
